Pack Adventure FAQs

  • How do you place each dog in their pack?

Your dog deserves to have best friends, so we ensure that your pup is added to a pack with similar energy levels, play styles, and training abilities so that they can be their true selves on our adventures!

  • Are you insured and licensed?

Yes! We are fully insured with ProFur Canada and fully licensed within the City of Vancouver, Pacific Spirit Park, and the District of West Vancouver.

  • What is your screening process?

Each dog is carefully vetted to ensure they meet our requirements, including being up to date on vaccinations, having training walks with one of our pack leaders, having no bite history, and more.

  • Do you take intact dogs?

Yes, we happily add intact dogs to our pack after a careful vetting process to ensure they do not display any behavioural concerns.

Though, any females in heat will not be allowed on our adventures.

  • How many dogs are in each pack?

Each pack has between 4-6 dogs. As each dog has a long-term, trusting relationship with their walker and the other dogs, each pup is confident and happy on their adventure and maintains their fantastic training skills.

  • Where do you take the dogs?

We want the dogs to explore new spaces, smells, and spots, so we adventure in a variety of places including but not limited to Spanish Banks, West Vancouver, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge and more.

  • How do you integrate new dogs into the pack?

Our goal is to find a perfect long-term fit for each dog in our pack. After we discuss the personality of your dog, we trial them in a particular pack to see if that is the right pack of pups for them!

Each dog is also separated from other dogs in the car for their trial and is on leash or on a long line to ensure their safety.

  • How do you transport the dogs?

Transporting the dogs to our adventures is safe, secure, and simple! We have dividers throughout our vans so that the dogs aren’t able to play while driving, but they still have the freedom to move around and get comfortable.

  • What is your intake process?

Each owner is asked to fill out an extensive questionnaire about their dog to learn more about their behaviours, background, genetics, goals, and more.

  • What is your training philosophy?

We follow a relationship-based approach throughout our training, which allows us to adapt to each dog’s needs while achieving the goals that each owner has in mind.
