Welcome to our pack
Chloe Marshall
Founder, Trainer, & Pack Leader
Dogs have been a core part of my life from a young age and continue to be an integral part of my purpose and passion.
My priority is to build a trusting, long-term relationship your dog throughout their lifetime - each and every dog in my care is a part of my family and it is one of my greatest life joys to watch the dogs grow, learn, and play from puppyhood to their senior years.
With over seven years of professional experience caring for dogs, I have worked with dogs of all ages, abilities, and energy-levels, which allows me to easily adapt to your pup’s needs, creating a supportive and stress-free environment where they can thrive.
I am passionate about training, particularly with puppies and young dogs to set them up for success as adaptable, social, and well-rounded pups! I also love to work with dogs through dog sports, whether that be obedience, agility, sprinter, dock diving, canine conditioning, and more.

Dogs have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a dog loving family, our home was always full of wagging tails and the kind of everyday companionship that only a dog can give. That early bond grew into a lifelong passion, not just for spending time with dogs, but for understanding them deeply.
Before joining Douglas Dog Care & Training, I spent nearly ten years working as a dog gear designer. That experience gave me a unique perspective on dog behaviour, body mechanics, and the practical training and safety needs of dogs and their humans. I love blending that technical knowledge with hands on skills to create calm, positive and confidence building experiences for every dog I work with.
I’m also committed to giving back to the community. My dog Jake and I are certified therapy dog volunteers through St. John Ambulance, where we support people in schools, hospitals, and community programs. Those visits remind me every day of the incredible emotional intelligence and healing power dogs carry with them.
At the end of the day, nothing makes me happier than connecting with dogs and discovering the world alongside them. I’m excited to be part of the team and to support dogs (and their people) in living fuller, happier lives.
Arthur
Puppy Assistant
Arthur is our puppy assistant at Douglas Dog Care! With Founder, Chloe, being his mum, he has grown up joining our packs from a young age and is a great example of the positive benefits of adventure pack walks due to the early socialization, immense exercise, and intensive training that are a part of these hikes.
He is currently in training with Chloe to become a registered therapy dog and will compete in CKC obedience and agility sporting events once he is old enough. In his spare time, he loves swimming and going on day hikes with his mum and dad.
Arthur is the dog we frequently use for trials and early introductions with puppies due to his friendly and well-mannered demeanor. If your dog joins our adventures, they will be best friends with Arthur!
